Task 1.1 Modeling of power system components (PD)

Objectives and Research content:
 

Research areas will be within power electronic devices, power converters and their applications like grid connection of loads and renewable energy.

Experience in how to do power electronic circuit design, thermal management of the power converters, improve power converter reliability, design and test for reliability taking into account the mission profile of the application are of interest.

Further-on at system-level experience in harmonic analysis, harmonic mitigation and harmonic active damping by power converters are of interest. Applicants with a strong international publication track record and experience with hardware realization will be preferred.

Teaching will primarily be in power electronic devices, circuits and systems incl. reliability and power quality, but also in other study programmes at the University.
